The Mervit® range
Supporting cows during the lactation period is essential to maximize the milk production and to prevent health problems. Therefore Nuscience developed a range of farm minerals to support cows during this high demanding period.
In addition to the standard products for dairy and beef cattle, the assortment includes a range of focus products for critical periods, such as the rearing of calves, the calving period, and the dry period. Furthermore, this range of focus products contains compositions aimed at the specific support of, among other things, general health, fertility, udder health, etc. All the products in the Mervit portfolio are dust-free, homogeneous, and tasty due to the unique molasses structure and, therefore, are easy to use on the farm.

Basic variant with a high level of readily available magnesium. It contains a good level of vitamins and minerals to meet the needs of the dry cow.

Two hours of colostrum production in the udder requires more calcium then the blood contains. Mervit® Milkfever Prevention Mineral (MPM) starts the calcium exchange from the bone well before calving to assure that the cow can deal with the increased calcium requirement from the udder.
